Haven of Rest Ministries

In 2012 The Foundation had the opportunity to partner with Haven of Rest by providing and installing a new computer lab which they use for job training for the homeless men and women they serve in Akron, Ohio. We were also able to provide them with equipment for a new, state of the art conference room. Lastly, we had the joy of providing donations for their Thanksgiving dinner each year.

Cornerstone Community School

The Foundation became aware that Cornerstone Community School had outgrown its small operating space within the walls of a local church and was seeking to acquire a building of its own. In light of this, The Foundation was able to come alongside Cornerstone in order to help them acquire a new building.

The Foundation annually assists The Salvation Army of Ravenna Ohio with their Annual Christmas Red Kettle Campaign. The purpose of the Red Kettle Campaign is to provide financial assistance to the economically disadvantaged in Portage County.

The Foundation became aware that Shelter Care had a supply of outdated computer equipment and needed a modern, HIPAA compliant solution. Working together with Shelter Care, The Dalton Foundation assessed their needs and supplied them with an updated, HIPAA compliant computer lab.

Assist International

Our partnership with Assist International began with aiding in the construction of one of their Caminul Felix communities – which provide homes for orphaned children and hope for a community. Most recently we partnered with Assist International in the Project 41 initiative in which they provide bicycle powered pumps to poor communities in developing nations in order to help these communities irrigate their land.

New Covenant World Missions

Our relationship with New Covenant World Missions (Hospital Shalom) in Guatemala includes helping in the effort to equip their hospital with the needed medical devices and supplies needed to operate and aiding in the construction to expand their facilities. Ray also sits on the board of New Covenant World Missions and in so doing has the privilege of being a resource for the direction and growth of the hospital.

Haitian Christian Outreach

Haitian Christian Outreach’s goal is to evangelize, equip, empower and encourage their partners using a biblical model of ministry. In 2016, they saw over 3,600 patients. Anemia, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and hypertension are some of the most diagnosed illness our doctors and nurses treat.

Mission of Hope Haiti

Mission of Hope Haiti has been a long term partner in ministry. We applaud the impact their ministry has made in their community by offering excellent healthcare and hospital services. 2014 YTD Mission of Hope has seen 793 patients in their vision clinic, 5.905 patients during their mobile clinic operations and 138 people have come to know Christ because of these outreaches.

The Dalton Foundation and reLink Medical have partnered with Broken Chains Ministry to provide the Word of God in the Summit County Jail. Broken Chains offers; one on one mentoring, Bible studies, discipleship and job placement services. We hope that our partnership with Broken Chains will give every inmate the opportunity to come to know Christ.

Cherishing the lives of the unborn, The Foundation was able to partner with Pregnancy Support Services (PSS) in 2011 by providing a donation for the purchase of a new RV to be used for ultrasound screening. Through the acquisition of a new bus, PSS is able to serve women who are experience unplanned pregnancies and help them chose life for their child!

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) is a program designed to support students in or seeking recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. The CRC and its programs allow students to have an authentic college experience while maintaining their recovery. Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes criminally abused, neglected and abandoned farm animals.Rescue – working in cooperation with law enforcement and county humane organizations we provide our service to Ohio and any state beyond requesting assistance. Rehabilitation – providing the veterinary attention, nutrition, and maintenance care and nurture to each animal who enters the sanctuary.
